Train On The Surface. Understand The Conditions

The 2026–27 Summer Season is bringing a unique challenge for EDTA players.

Division 2 Boys and Girls will be competing on the Kensington Gardens Lawn Tennis Courts and Tiger Tennis is giving selected players the opportunity to prepare specifically for the demands of grass-court tennis.

Introducing the EDTA Lawn Court Performance Squad.

A high-quality, small-group training environment designed for competitive players who want to develop the skills, movement and tactical awareness required to perform at their best on lawn.

Lawn tennis rewards players who can adapt to the surface. The lower bounce, faster conditions and unique movement patterns require a different approach to traditional hard-court tennis.

Our Lawn Court Squad will help players develop:

Learn how to adjust your movement, timing and positioning to the faster lawn surface.

Develop effective serving patterns and return strategies designed for grass-court conditions.

🏃 Movement & Footwork

Build confidence moving, recovering and changing direction on a low-bouncing surface.

🧠 Match Tactics

Understand how to construct points and exploit the unique characteristics of lawn tennis.

💪 Competitive Confidence

Prepare for the challenges of playing competitive matches on the Kensington Gardens Lawn Courts.

Who Is This Squad For?

The Lawn Court Performance Squad is initially available to selected EDTA Division 1, 2 and 3 players who meet the following UTR requirements: BOYS 3.0+ | GIRLS 2.5+

*Priority will be given to Division 2 players

As Division 2 players will be required to compete on the Kensington Gardens Lawn Courts during the 2026–27 Summer Season, they will receive priority access to the squad.

Term 4 Dates/Times/Location/Fee

Session 1: 15th Oct - 3rd Dec | 4:30-5:30pm | Kensington Lawn Tennis Club (432 The Parade, Kensington Gdns)

Session 2: 15th Oct - 3rd Dec | 5:30-6:30pm | Kensington Lawn Tennis Club (432 The Parade, Kensington Gdns)

Fee: $260

If you would like to enroll your child then please complete and submit the online form below before Mon 12th Oct to secure position. With squads capped at 8–10 players, places are strictly limited.

*Part terms cannot be purchased. Lessons are non-refundable unless negotiated for an extended illness.
