Welcome to the enrollment page for tennis coaching at Seymour College. This program is independently managed by Tiger Tennis at Seymour. Coaching is specifically catered for Reception to year 5 students. Lessons in term 3 will be held on Monday and Tuesday afternoons and will run over 7 consecutive weeks.

Term 1 Coaching Dates:

R-Yr2 | Mon | 3Feb-17Mar | 3:30-4:15pm

Y3-Y5 | Tues | 4Feb-18Mar | 3:30-4:15pm

Cost: $169.95

Each lesson focuses on a particular stroke where the student will be taught the correct grips, footwork and technique. An introduction to scoring will also be covered. Hand-eye coordination drills will also be focused on. We endeavor to keep the student to coach ratio low so enrollments will be excepted on a first in, first served basis.

Certificates

At the end of the term, certificates of achievement are given to all children, reminding them of the importance of participating and working towards a goal.

More Information

Students will be collected from the Junior School undercorft area at 3:25pm (bottom of the stairs) by the coach and walked to the tennis courts for their lesson. Any children not picked up after their lesson will be walked to OHSC.

If a lesson has to be be canceled due to inclement weather then the parent or guardian will be notified by text message on the lesson day and a catch up session will be re-scheduled via email. (Usually we will have access to the undercroft area).

Tennis Racquets

The correct size racquet will be supplied for those that choose to purchase a junior racquet with their enrollment below.
